We are pleased to announce that Professor Ming-Chun Zhao has been appointed Associate Editor of Bio-X.

Dr Ming-Chun Zhao, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Central South University, and a "Shenghua Scholar." He received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and has subsequently conducted research at top research institutions in Japan, Australia, Switzerland, and other countries. He has long been dedicated to the development of high-performance and high-quality materials for service in extreme environments, with a focus on biohealth materials, advanced light metals, and advanced high-strength steels. He has published nearly 200 SCI-indexed papers as first or corresponding author. Since the inception of the ranking, he has been annually listed in both the "Career-Long Scientific Impact Ranking" and the "Annual Scientific Impact Ranking" among the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University, and has also been included in the "World's Top 100,000 Scientists" list.
